ET can confirm that singer Mary. J. Blige is the latest star to land a guest-judging role on "American Idol" following Paula Abdul's departure from the show.
Blige will join judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in Atlanta at auditions for some of next season's "Idol" hopefuls, says People.com.
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and singer Katy Perry are also set to be guest judges on the show.
